Meet Adrienne
Adrienne lives in Vancouver Canada with Bob, her life and business partner.
Family is one of three important pillars of her life, alongside being a life partner and an ambitious and successful business woman.
She is the mother of four daughters, a part of a blended family with Bob's three children, partners and six grandchildren.
For over 20 years she and Bob have been in business together. This includes an Executive Recruitment firm and a Digital Marketing company.
Her Journey of Self-Realization
Adrienne has faced, survived, thrived and grown through adversity in every aspect of her life, from leaving a marriage, raising four daughters and managing the challenges of business through difficult economic times.
Dealing with challenging situations caused Adrienne to question aspects of her life. Each time, she came out the other side stronger and changed as a result of having the experience.
Adversity ignited the power within Adrienne to rebuild a life beyond her imagination.
In her early forties, she began to wonder who she really was. Adrienne began to realize that through the journey of motherhood and survival, she'd lost her identity and didn't know what truly made her happy.
Through writing this book and reflecting on the most challenging events in her life, Adrienne connected the dots to discover lessons and wisdom hidden deep within. This journey of self-reflection was the gift that helped her discover what makes her dance.
She hopes that leading others through a similar journey, looking back through their life and connecting the dots that join their life experiences, will help unravel the fabric of their life, reconnecting with their true identity to discover what makes them dance.
Over twenty years ago I had a spiritual experience so profound, I thought one day I would write a book. It was an easy statement to say and a much bigger goal to achieve. Eventually, writing a book became something I grew to believe I was called to do.

The story of
Unravel You
Before starting to write, I asked my four daughters for their permission to write freely about our journey together as mother and daughters. Without knowing what would unfold on paper, they wholeheartedly supported my quest to become an author, trusting me to tell their stories.
Writing a book was a transformational experience. Every morning I sat down to write, I was amazed by the words that landed on paper. Much to my surprise, my writing encompassed pieces of my whole life, the ups, the downs, the joy, the pain, in every aspect of my life. I discovered we are a sum of all our parts.
I unravelled my experiences, revealing thread by thread the interrelated parts of me. I developed clarity about different stages and how incidents that seemed forgotten are still showing up today, in unexpected ways. I discovered I needed to forgive people I didn't realize required forgiving. Forgiveness set me free from feelings that had a strong hold on me, feelings that kept me from fulfilling my purpose.
We're all a work in progress. I'm here to guide you on your journey of self-discovery to help you unravel the past to reveal your true essence and what makes you dance.
From Book to Board Game
When I set out to write my book Unravel You, I never imagined it would lead to creating a board game.
After two years of writing, I finally submitted my first draft—a huge weight off my shoulders. For the first time in a long time, I could breathe. The process had consumed so much of my life that one evening, my husband Bob jokingly asked if we’d ever talk about anything else again.
The very morning I submitted my manuscript, Bob and I were walking to a coffee shop when I casually said, “If I seem quiet, it’s because I’m thinking about a board game.” I had no idea what it would be or how it would take shape—I just knew it had to happen.
Over the next few days, I let the idea simmer, observing the world around me. Then, on a whim, I went to a local dollar store and picked up sticky notes, a whiteboard, and some sparkly decorations. That night, home alone, I arranged everything on the board, and just like that, the first version of Now You’re Talking™ was born.
